Coopman Search and Selection has won the Small Business Marketing category in The Marketing Institute’s All Ireland Marketing (AIM) Awards 2021. The announcement was made at this year’s AIM Awards ceremony, which was virtually hosted by Bryan Dobson on Friday, 21 May 2021.
Sponsored by AIB, the award recognises a business that has thought strategically about its competitive landscape, deployed effective marketing strategies and consequently achieved breakthroughs and profitable growth.
Commenting on the award win, Director Andrew Murphy said:
“We are absolutely thrilled! It is our first award and it is very fitting with the approach we are taking as a business. From the start, we have positioned marketing as a central function at Coopman, as we understand the important role it plays in reaching our audience, particularly in a heavily saturated market that over the last has been greatly impacted by Covid-19.
Our first hire was our Marketing Manager, Gemma O’Leary which is unusual for a recruitment company, and the award is just incredible recognition of the creativity, resourcefulness and hard work that our team have been putting in, to develop and grow a meaningful, engaging and impactful brand.”
The judging process included a written submission and virtual presentation made by Andrew and Gemma. The team presented the company’s marketing strategy, showcasing the innovative tactics and channels used to establish brand recognition in the market and generate revenue.
Alongside Coopman Search and Selection in the Small Business Marketing category included finalists Epic – The Irish Emigration Museum, DASH Container Café, izest Marketing and The Institute of Child Education & Psychology. The event audience also heard from Minister for Finance, Paschal Donohue.
