An Associate Consultant role at Coopman offers a great introduction to the world of recruitment, where you’ll discover how to build and develop Coopman’s service offering to a wide range of financial services institutions in the Irish & UK market. Typically, our Associates progress to Consultant within six to 12 months, depending on experience and growth within the role.

Already have recruitment experience? Get stuck in and start developing a market from day one.

A Consultant role at Coopman offers the full recruitment life cycle, where you will manage the recruitment process from initial contact through to the offer stage and beyond. This role includes sourcing and interviewing industry professionals, assessing their technical and cultural fit for client mandates, negotiating salary packages and maintaining/nurturing client relationships.

Show your market knowledge and depth of relationships as a consistent biller.

A Senior Consultant role at Coopman acts as a role model within the team. Typically you will work closely with management on the direction of the division and with consistent billings, you will also have the opportunity to mentor the junior members of the team.

Ideal for those who want to focus on billing rather than people management.

A Principal Consultant role at Coopman offers the opportunity to get involved in wider business and marketing initiatives aswell as the opportunity to transition into a management role if you wish to do so. 

Networking will be a key aspect of your role as you establish and maintain relationships with clients and industry professionals. As a brand ambassador, you will represent Coopman in various professional settings.

Lead and develop your own team, spreading the wisdom to junior consultants.

As a Manager at Coopman, you will be responsible for building and maintaining client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sales to meet revenue targets. Additionally, you will have managerial duties, such as conducting one-on-one meetings with team members, providing performance feedback, and overseeing their professional development. You will also be accountable for managing the P&L of your team or department, monitoring financial performance, and making data-driven decisions to optimize profitability. Ultimately, your success as a Manager will be measured by your ability to achieve sales targets, effectively manage your team, and contribute to the overall financial performance of the organisation.

Lead your teams from the front.

As an Associate Director at Coopman, your role will involve managing managers within the organisation and taking on increased responsibilities. You will have a more significant input in the strategic management of the business. In addition to overseeing operations, you will be responsible for providing guidance and support to managers, ensuring their teams are functioning effectively and meeting objectives. Your role will include actively participating in strategic discussions, contributing ideas and insights to shape the organisation's direction. 

Implement change at a strategic level as a trusted member of the board.

As a Director of Coopman, you will be responsible for overseeing operations, including marketing, finance, HR, and sales. You will play a full business role, driving net profitability and providing strategic direction for the organization. It will be your responsibility to ensure smooth operations, develop effective marketing strategies, manage finances, optimise sales performance, and foster a skilled workforce. Additionally, you will collaborate with senior executives to align goals and make informed decisions to steer the company towards long-term success.
