Coopman Search and Selection is delighted to launch the second series of the Conversations With Coopman podcast, “Making Sustainability Your Business”, in association with global non-profit reforestation organisation, One Tree Planted.
The series focuses on how businesses across financial services are embedding sustainability into their operations, as well as creating innovative solutions to tackle climate change and the impact it has on the environment.
Throughout the series, host Andrew Murphy and co-host Mark Fallon or William McCoppin will be joined by professionals and industry experts who champion sustainability in financial services, to discuss what is happening in their companies and the wider market.
Commenting on the series, Andrew said:
“As we near closer to the 2021 United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP26), the topic of conversation at a national level is climate change. To reach the goals of the Paris Agreement and the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, notably to keep global temperature rises to below 2C and ideally limit them to 1.5C, countries are expected to bring forward more ambitious and aggressive plans.
Businesses across all sectors, including financial services, will play an important role in supporting governments in achieving their climate action goals. As a result, the outcomes of the summit will greatly guide companies in how they will need to operate going forward and what must be done to reach net zero commitments.
With a collective responsibility among business leaders to address climate change and drive climate action, the second series of the podcast is designed to support executives and senior management in developing their strategies and roadmaps for sustainability. From addressing climate change at board level to advising directors in relation to sustainable business, the episodes will cover a range of topics and aim to provide valuable information and insights.
The series will be available across all major podcast channels and also in video for the first time on our YouTube channel, as well as our company website and social media channels.”
