Newly Qualified Accountant

Coopman Search & Selection are delighted to be partnering with a global corporate services provider, with international and domestic clients across a broad range of industries who are searching for a Newly Qualified Accountant to join their growing team in Shannon Co. Clare.
  
Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage on-boarding of clients and set-up of structures for delivery of tailored services in accordance with individual client requirements
  • Act as main point of contact, on a daily basis, for internal and external stakeholders for client portfolio
  • Ensure that client reporting deadlines are met, and any ad-hoc client requests are dealt with in a prompt manner.
  • Preparation of management accounts
  • Prepare statutory financial statements
  • Prepare consolidated financial statements
  • Preparation of reconciliations of balance sheet accounts
  • Preparation of budgets and forecasts
  • Monitoring of clients’ debtors ledger, creditors ledger and treasury management
  • Preparation, review and filing of client tax returns

  
Core competencies:

  • Qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA).
  • Up to 2 years post qualification experience, preferably in the corporate services industry or accounting practice.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and client servicing skills.
  • Strong time management skills with a proven ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Results oriented.
  • Audit experience is advantageous, but not desired.
  • Highly organised with an eye for detail.
