Corporate Accountant

Are you an experienced Management Accountant looking to join an industry leading PE firm in London that offers great exposure and development opportunities? 

Coopman Search are excited to be partnering with a mid market PE firm in London as they grow their financial control team. 

The day to day role will involve:

• Preparing monthly consolidated management accounts & board reports for the group
• Preparing annual statutory accounts for the group
• Preparing quarterly FCA returns and any other regulatory reports
• Preparing quarterly reports to external investors
• Analysing and applying quarterly valuations to the investments within the management entities
• Preparation of month-end journals & reconciliations (income, fixed assets, accruals, prepayments, revaluations etc.)
• Preparing intercompany reconciliations
• Cash management, including monitoring and reconciling bank accounts, preparing cashbooks, entering cash journals, FX forwards monitoring and EMIR returns
• Preparing the group’s VAT returns, including partial exemption special method and capital goods scheme calculations
• Preparing recharges to and reconciling transactions with fund entities and portfolio companies
• Continually looking for improvements to procedures and processes

Experience required: 

• Fully qualified ACA/ACCA or CIMA 
• Educated to degree level 
• at least 1 year of management accounting or financial accounting experience
• Ideally experience within a regulated entity 
• Collaborative approach and ability to build strong relationships
