Compliance Analyst

Coopman Search and Selection are delighted to partner with an Alternative Investment firm, focused around sustainability and infrastructure in searching for a Compliance Analyst to support the UCITS Compliance Manager.
  
Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting daily best execution, post-trade surveillance, and liquidity monitoring
• Assisting in preparing and completing the Compliance Monitoring Programmes for both FCA and SEC regulated entities
• Helping to maintain and update internal compliance processes and procedures
• Maintaining breach registers and supporting timely reporting internal stakeholders
• Assisting with the preparation of regulatory and risk reports for OEICs, SICAVs, ICAVs, and Mutual Funds.
• Deliver compliance training and review financial promotions
• Supporting due diligence efforts on third-party providers and managing incoming due diligence requests

  
Key Experienced Required:

• 2–3 years’ experience within a UCITS ManCo or MiFID investment manager working with UCITS funds.
• Awareness of Market Abuse Regulation (MAR) and associated gatekeeping procedures.
• Solid knowledge of COLL, MiFID II, and other sections of the FCA Handbook
• Knowledge of US regulations and US mutual funds would be highly beneficial
• Ideally educated to degree level within a top institution (Law Degree would be advantageous)
• Excellent attention to detail, organised, and analytical.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
