Senior Associate- Payments

Coopman Search and Selection are delighted to partner with an award-winning and specialist compliance and regulatory consultancy providing expert advice and products to financial institutions. This particular role is within a team who provide support to clients in UK Payment Services.
  
  
Key responsibilities of the Senior Compliance Associate;

• Provide support to clients on the legislations and regulatory requirements around UK Payment Services;
• Maintaining knowledge of regulations such as Payment Services Regulations 2017 and the Electronic Money Regulations 2017;
• Reviewing client documents, applying the necessary legal and regulatory frameworks;
• Provide support for FCA applications for various Payments Services firms;
• Answering client questions from a technical perspective;
• Occasional responsibility to attend clients’ sites to perform Payment Services tasks;
• Assist in development of the business and team as they continue to grow;
• Become a trusted advisor to clients to maintain relationships;
• Supporting peers within your direct team and sharing best practices.

  
  
Experience required of the Senior Compliance Associate;

• Relevant experience in the Payments sector of Financial Services;
• Ability to interpret and analyse data thoroughly;
• Be articulate in communications both written and verbally;
• Have a strong attention to detail ensuring projects are completed in a timely manner;
• Experience of Microsoft Office products, including Excel and PowerPoint;
• Strong ability to work within a team, whilst also having own initiative.
