Compliance Manager

Coopman Search and Selection are delighted to partner with a Global Financial Services business, looking for a Compliance Manager to join there Retirement and Pensions division. 
   
Key responsibilities of the Compliance Manager; 

  • Managing the Compliance Management System
  • Ensure the frameworks for compliance are robust and adhere to regulatory requirements 
  • Design and deliver training to the business on their regulatory requirements
  • Work collaboratively with other business functions to support and drive an effective risk culture
  • Assist in developing compliance policies and procedures 
  • Monitor and provide reports on compliance with regulatory requirement

   
Experience required of the Compliance Manager; 

  • Practical and demonstrative experience within the Pensions and Financial Services industry in the UK;
  • Practical experience with Compliance frameworks within the UK Financial Services industry;
  • Understanding of up to date policies, legislations and the regulatory environment of the UK Pensions industry
  • An ability to build trusted relationships with stakeholders of various levels, both internally and externally
  • Good written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail; 
  • Qualifications in Business, Commerce or Law would be advantageous
