Compliance Associate

Coopman Search and Selection are delighted to partner with an award-winning and specialist compliance and regulatory consultancy providing expert advice and products to financial institutions. This Associate position is a newly created role in their team who support firms in the Payments industry:
Key responsibilities of the Compliance Associate;

  • Assisting firms with their Compliance policies and procedures, as well as regulatory reporting and audit work
  • Providing administrative support to clients and the wider team as they support firms with FCA authorisation applications
  • Develop a strong understanding of the regulations applicable to Payments firms and any upcoming industry changes
  • Building relationships with clients and becoming a trusted advisor, responding to queries in a timely manner
  • Maintaining accurate records and systems
  • Managing multiple projects and workstreams at once

Experience required of the Compliance Associate;

  • Strong writing skills and a high level of attention to detail is a must
  • Relevant Financial Services or Compliance experience is not a must here, but would be advantageous
  • Ability to learn quickly, retain information and be adaptable to changes
  • Experience of Microsoft Office products, including Excel and PowerPoint;
  • Capable of working well within a team, whilst also having own initiative.
